I chose these quotes because they spoke to in a way that none of the others did. I think that they are very inspirational and we all need a little motivation in our life every once in a while. Because, without it why would we strive to get things done?

This culture jam piece shows that in the movie the price or "hero" saved the princess from her sleep death by kissing her while she was unconscious which brain washes the kids watching it... because this is a kids movie... That it is okay for you to kiss someone while they are sleeping and you don't have to ask...

First I came up with 20 different designs using my initials while also using 20 different fonts. Then I found images that I thought represented mw well. Lastly, I took the colors and themes from the images that I found on the web and added shapes and extruded some parts of my initials to add some more depth and meaning to it.

For my logo research I found all the sports teams, music companies, and clothes companies that mean the most to me. The ones that stand out to me if it's just because I love it or I think the logo is a really cool design. It also gave me a better understanding of current logos that I had no idea had updated versions to their logos in recent years.

This is Plankton from the TV show SpongeBob SquarePants on Nickelodeon. I choose Plankton because someone gave me the idea and I thought it was really cool. I also thought it would be a good character to draw because I watch the show past and present.

These are two examples of the practice I did in Adobe Software using the pen tool. For the most part it was smooth sailing and I didn't run into to many issues.

What is this and why did we do it? The purpose of this project was to get a better understanding of the Adobe Illustrator and have some practice with most of the tools. There are a total of seven artboards that we created using the software including; line, shape, color, value, texture, space and form. The difference between the elements: The line tool - is created by placing two points and going crazy... can be filled or not. The shape tool - is two dimensional which can be filled or unfilled. (connected by lines). Values - are different as well. Colors have different percentages that go into each color field. The texture part - is the quality of the object's surface. It gives the objects more character. Space - is the distances around, between, and within objects. It also refers to depth. Space can be positive and negative. Forms - are shapes that are 3D which can be opened and closed.
