Critique of Kitra

With the program “Kitra” that I downloaded, it seemed fairly simple to use and easy to pick up. But after watching the tutorial and playing around with it I was only able to understand how to use the “pen tool” But it wasn’t letting me color in, which I found annoying. I had to watch more tutorial videos because I kept getting lost and trying to do new stuff. The software did not seem super user friendly because it almost seems unfinished like it was hard to figure out how to do stuff if I just opened it for the first time with no experience. The quality was not good at all because it wasn’t letting me color it in and other features are different from Abode.

Practice with the Adobe Illustrator Software

What is this and why did we do it? The purpose of this project was to get a better understanding of the Adobe Illustrator and have some practice with most of the tools. There are a total of seven artboards that we created using the software including; line, shape, color, value, texture, space and form. The difference between the elements: The line tool - is created by placing two points and going crazy... can be filled or not. The shape tool - is two dimensional which can be filled or unfilled. (connected by lines). Values - are different as well. Colors have different percentages that go into each color field. The texture part - is the quality of the object's surface. It gives the objects more character. Space - is the distances around, between, and within objects. It also refers to depth. Space can be positive and negative. Forms - are shapes that are 3D which can be opened and closed.
